The Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) of Substances and Mixtures entered into force on 20 January 2009. The CLP Regulation incorporates the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling (C&L) of Chemicals criteria and also compliments the EU REACH Regulation.
